A Proposal of Application Notice has been submitted to City of Edinburgh Council for the demolition of the existing building and redevelopment of the site for a mixed-use development comprising residential, hotel and office uses with ancillary commercial spaces, associated open space, car parking, landscaping, and ancillary works at Argyle House, 3 Lady Lawson Street, Edinburgh, EH3 9DS.

Two consultation events were held on the 2nd December 2025 and 28th January 2026 between 2-7pm at The Lookout, Edinburgh Futures Institute, 1 Lauriston Place, Edinburgh, EH3 9EF. These events aimed to provide further details on the redevelopment proposals for the site, as well as an opportunity to provide comments.
